Some Randoms

So much has happened in the past couple of weeks. But here are some of the better happenings in that time.

First off my very dear, very good, very best friend came and visited from Mississippi (why are there two sets of iss's? Couldn't they have just left one out and left it at Missippi?). I was lucky enough to share my house with her and her sweet husband and adorable daughter. Seriously, I felt selfish keeping her at my house, but I didn't want to share her with anybody else!

And the night continued at Kellan's gorgeous house. OH MY! I haven't laughed that hard since I was with these girls last! We acted like we were in high school again. My heart is so full just thinking about that night. How I love those girls.

And then just a couple of the kids posing for me and my happy camera. Two best friends (that fight half the time. (But I know they adore each other more than anything else (except for their mom))).

White Way Delight

This is where I go sometimes. Imagine me sitting on that bench pretending to be Anne of Green Gables. awwwwwwwww. Breath of fresh air. That's better. Have you seen Anne of Green Gables? Did you have a bosom buddy? I did. I still watch it and it makes me feel so happy. THAT is what I will do tomorrow.

And I will be sitting my pretty little daughter on my lap so that we can watch it together on her birthday. She is 2 tomorrow. I think she should be much older than that. But we will be celebrating with a mother daughter movie (that she will probobly only sit and watch for 10 minutes tops) a few presents including a baby that sucks a bottle, cries, sleeps, giggles, and says mamma (she's gonna love it, I hope) and some new outfits. And of course there will be a pink frosted 2 tier cake, pink ice cream, and probobly a jealous brother. We'll deal with him as he arrives.

Blowup Fun

We did this for playgroup a couple of weeks ago. I'm so glad we were able to go because the kids had the time of their life. This place is so much fun, I just wish I could have been up playing too!

And they all go marching one by one....

The other day I had an OB appointment. I forgot about it until late the night before and didn't have anyone to watch the kids for me. So I figured I would just bring them with me since these appointments are easy and hassle free for now. We got into the room and the nurse came to listen to the baby's heartbeat. I thought this would be cool for the kids to hear but didn't think they would understand that it was the baby making that noise. Once we heard it I said to the kids, "Do you hear that funny sound? That's the baby in mommy's tummy." And Peyton immediately said, "It sounds like the baby is marching!" My heart about melted with love for that little boy right then.

The doctor came in and did his quick exam all while the kids sat thoughtfully and quietly on a bench out of the way. The doctor asked if I had any concerns or questions and I didn't, but Peyton said he had a question. So the doctor turned all his attention to Peyton and this is what Peyton said: (kind of sheepishly) "Someday I want to live with Heavenly Father." Could my heart handle this? And the doctor, being LDS, said to him, "I think that's a great idea along with your whole family. (and then speaking to me:) I think he must be listening in Primary!"

I was the proudest mamma ever.

Will we always remember this day?

And I said, "Of course we will!" answering Josh's question after he walked for graduation. And now it will always be a part of our history book. It was a great day with both our families there with us. The graduation was actually really cool. It was held at Chase Field and there were even fireworks which the kids thought was really cool. You could see Josh up on the jumbotron few times which was really neat for Peyton to see. Afterwards we had all the family over to our house for dinner. It was a really really great day and I think Josh is happy that he walked and had that experience. I am so proud of him!
