My studious children

Just a cute pic of the kids doing their homework after school today. This is them every Tuesday getting all their work done for the week because it's the only day I am home in the afternoon to help them with it. I love Tuesdays.

Easter 2013

This year we were supposed to go to Mesa and spend Easter with my family but Josh ended up having to work on Saturday so we stayed and did our own thing instead. We had a good time as a family and did all the normal Easter things at home.

Sunday morning we had out Easter egg hunt and we let Siri out with us. She immediately found an egg and went to town on that thing. I remember her doing this last year. It's funny to see her come trotting down the driveway with an egg in her mouth.

Renaissance Festival

I was lucky enough to win tickets to the Renaissance Festival from a radio station here in Show Low so we finally went! We had a great time doing it and seeing all the shows and jousts and everything it has to offer.  It was very cool.

Here we are waiting for the kids while they are up the tower dragon slide....

There they are peeking out at us!

We stopped at Bahama Bucks on our way back, ahhh, that really hit the spot for me. I miss this place.

St. Patrick's Day

Peyton set up a whole trap to catch a leprechaun  the welcome sign is the funniest. It's a bummer the leprechaun just stole his money and left though, at least he left them some goodies too.

Basketball 2013 Hawks

Josh and his brother Jon coached to boys' basketball team this year. This was their first year playing and they all were just learning the game and did great and had fun most of the time. Peyton liked having Dallin and Bryce on the same team.

Peyton is #12!

Going for the basket!

The whole team. Go Hawks!

Christmas Day 2012

The aftermath.

I let the kids spend a little bit of money on themselves at their school's holiday store but unbeknownst to me Peyton brought his own money the next day and bought me a necklace. He labeled the bag to: Bre. I was so touched that he would spend his own money to buy me a gift and I treasure that necklace very much. He is such a sweet boy.

Peyton building Paige's new lego tree house.

Michael and Karley came up to visit a few days after Christmas so we decided it would be a great time to shoot Peyton's Mentos rocket.

Look how high!

Polar Express 2012

We went on our annual trip to the North Pole riding on the Polar Express to visit Santa.  We always have such a great time and hope to go many many more times! My camera doesn't take good night pictures so I didn't even include them in this post but here we are at Red Lobster the day after enjoying some good old chain restaurant goodness!  Can't wait for next time already!

Paige's World

Paige lives and plays in her own little world. I love to catch her playing, she is so into it that she rarely notices me watching her. Here is just another moment caught.

Nutcracker 2012

After lot's of hard work and many many weekends at the studio for rehearsal we performed The Nutcracker at Show Low High School with the White Mountain Symphony Orchestra.

Liz came to watch after being away at college!

Hailey and Derrick and Clara and Prince.

Breakfast with Santa at the hospital

Every year Summit Hospital does breakfast with Santa for all hospital employees and we have gone for the past couple of years.  This year Paige actually got up enough nerve to sit on his lap. It was a cold snowy morning but breakfast was warm and it's always so much fun.

Christmas Program

This is like Where's Waldo, except where's Peyton and Paige?
