This is after Christmas in Show Low. It snowed the morning before we got there so we went out and bought Peyton some gloves so that he could play in it. He had a great time. We bundled Paige up to keep her warm, it was soooo cold! And we thought she looked really cute in her new snow hat.
Our family! I love this family picture, Christmas Eve after we all opened our new pajamas.

Glimpse
I am just missing dancing right now. I feel like this is the last thing I have. It's one of the pieces that I think I am most proud of. My all time favorite piece I've ever done. You do not have to watch it, it's really just up for me so that it's not lost in nowhere land.

Ice Cream! YUM!!!
I got an ice cream maker for my birthday a couple days ago and today I made ice cream! I was so excited! So Peyton and I sat down to eat it and Peyton of course dripped it on the table not paying attention to what he was doing. When he realized that he had spilled, I guess he didn't want to waste any or it was just that good, he started licking it off the table! I was so funny I ran and got my camera and here he is cleaning up! (the ice cream WAS that good!)

New Hobbies
This is my latest hobby. Since being called to Humanitarian specialist in my ward I have had a great interest in quilting. So far I have made Paige two blankets. This first one has ribbon all around the edges that are supposed to be like tags. Paige loves tags. This is one of her Christmas presents.
This is one I made just after she was born because I wanted her to have something very girly.

Picture Post!
Okay! Are you ready for this?! This is a super post! These are some pictures I took from the past couple of weeks of some of the events that took place! Buckle up, here we go!
This is Paige smiling! I try to capture these moments as often as possible just because. Oh yeah, and I wanted to get a picture of her teeth, they're so cute!
This is a picture that Peyton took of Paige outside while playing. He is quite the photographer these days. Look how he also captured the basketball hoop in the back, he's such an artist.
This is Paige sitting up all by herself! She is doing really good but still falls over sometimes. I took some video of her sitting up but they are only a few seconds long because she just didn't want to perform for the camera that day, I at least got some snapshots.
Mommy and Peyton decided to make some cookies one night. Peyton loved to help by stirring the ingrediants, and dipping the cookie balls into sprinkles, and he ate alot of sprinkles. I'm not sure how much actually got on the cookies, but needless to say we are out of sprinkles now. Earlier that night I was making dinner and Peyton was just rummaging around the pantry. Then he came running over to the silverware drawer, grabbed a spoon and ran back to the pantry. A couple minutes later I went to check on him and he was dipping his spoon into the sugar container and eating it! You know that commercial where it says "Would you let your kids do this?" and they are doing that very thing! It was very funny, I laughed so hard, so he started laughing, but then did not understand why I made him stop.
My car was so dirty, it hasn't been washed in weeks, maybe months. So Peyton and I washed the car since the weather was soooo nice last week. We had a good time and Peyton got soaked.

Jewel Concert Last Night
Yep went to the Jewel concert last night thanks to Kellan. When she invited me I though, "Sure, why not?" I didn't know of any recent music from her that I liked. When she came out with Intuition I was so turned off by her new style. I was just looking forward to going out without the kids for a girls night. Her dad introduced her and it was very sweet. She came out and without saying a word she started singing Over the Rainbow. It was beautiful and she really has an incredible voice. She sang old songs, new songs, her dad even got up and sang a couple of songs he wrote, they sang together and even yodled. It was so neat. She told stories and jokes and it was just so enjoyable. She really interacted with the audience, she took requests and played some of my old favorites. I was reminded of how much I love her music and now I want to buy all her music! So anyway it was neat to see her be real and normal and I guess what I'm trying to say is I had a great time!

First solids
Here is Paige eating her first solids. She didn't really take to the spoon very quickly like Peyton did, she really just wants to play with it. But she is doing better with it.
Birthday pictures
It was so funny when I brought Peyton his cake so we could sing to him and blow out candles. I lit the candles and before we started singing Peyton blew out the candles! It was funny and he wanted to do it over and over again so I re-lit them about 4 times.
He loves this dinosaur, he tucks it in bed with him every night and calls it 'Rah'.

Peyton's Birthday Weekend
Pictures are coming soon! But I thought I would tell you all about Peyton's birthday now. I love having birthdays on the weekend because then it feels like you're celebrating the whole weekend. First of all I can't believe that here we are celebrating his birthday again. He's 2! But so much has happened in the past year that it seems like he should be older too! So anyway, the build up to Peyton's birthday was so exciting for me and Josh, it was like it was our birthday and we were 5! He has no idea what's going on and here we are acting like children. But finally the Friday before his birthday comes and Josh took the day off so we could go to the zoo together. Josh and I had a great time seeing the animals and we saw so many more animals awake and moving around this time it was really neat. But it was a good thing we didn't have to buy a ticket for Peyton because he almost couldn't have cared less about the animals. He was being very defiant. We would say "Peyton, do you want to see the monkeys?!" "No!" would be his answer. The only animals he really liked seeing were the elephants and the orangutans (which are my favorite too). Josh had to go on a camporee for scouts that night which was kind of a bummer but it's kind of nice too! I love having the whole bed to myself and I finished painting our kitchen cupboards too. (I've been painting all of the cabinets in our house for the past month.)
So Sunday comes, which was Peyton's actual birthday, and we skipped church because we were having most of Josh's family and my whole family over. I really love being with both my families and I always enjoy all the action that goes on with everybody together. Peyton was definitely loving all the attention and showing his terrible two side as well. He got some neat gifts and he loves all of them. He plays with his new toys all day. And he loves having new movies to watch and new books to read at bedtime.
And since he turned 2, we decided to once and for all finally just throw away his pacifiers. Yes, he has been attached to his pacifier this long. We always said that when he turned 1 we would take it away, but it was hard, and I was weak, Then we got him down to only having it at bedtime, then Paige was born and I got weak again. So Monday we threw them all away and hoped for the best. And it's actually going really well! I can't believe I waited this long! The only times when he has asked for it is when he wakes up from a nap or first thing in the morning. He digs around his sheets for it, it's kind of cute and kind of sad. I just tell him that it's not here and he forgets about it. He is such a good boy.
So that's his birthday story. If you read this far, thanks. I could probobly talk about my children all day. I am very proud of them. We are lucky to have our family.

Snuggling
Here is a video of the kids playing and snuggling in Paige's crib. Peyton loves to get in there with her and snuggle under a blanket.

Happy Paige
So here is Paige today while changing a diaper. She was very happy and eating her toes so I wanted to catch that on camera before she stopped. Peyton popped in a few times but didn't stay for very long each time. He was being very silly.
