I learned how to crochet here. It's definitely addicting. And now Paige has an adorable new hat and a new scarf.

2 Things

Yes, two things. First off, Paige is such a stinker. I call her a stink pot alot. These pictures are pictures that I found on my camera while looking through all of them. I could not figure our what they were until I got to the self portrait of Paige. She had taken my camera and hidden under a table and then decided to take some pictures. She gave herself away when she took a picture of herself. Oops. What a stink pot.

Guilty.
Next, our family day date. We spent most of Saturday "winter-izing" the kids. In other words, we got the kids warm clothes for the winter before everything was gone. It was successful and the kids are definitely going to keep warm in their new clothes and especially their new very warm coats. Josh taught me the difference between a coat and a jacket. Who knew there was a difference. Come to find out that coats are expensive. But thanks to Walmart we found some that weren't too bad. After shopping we went to see a movie. We saw "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" in 3-D. It. was. funny. Go see it, or rent it, but see it whatever you do. Here are the kids at the movie theatre. They had a great time and enjoyed the movie. So did we.

Candy helped keep Paige occupied. Can you see it?

Then end.

An Art Project

Peyton has been begging me to do and art project but I was out of ideas. But then I saw the empty diaper box that needed to be thrown away along with and full Costco box of wipes. So I dumped out the box of wipes and took both boxes outside along with a knife and our newly bought paint and we went to work making a house. It's not a very good one but the kids had fun painting it anyway. This is our art project.

Durr.

Wow, I am very uninspired right now. Nothing to blog about. I have no projects going on. I wish I did. But I don't have my sewing machine with me, or my ribbon supply, or my fabric supply. Nothing. This leaves me very....un-in-spired. I can't even think of a different word. But I am thinking about taking up knitting or some crochet so I can make some things for this winter. Because, did I mention, I live in a place where it snows? Oh, I did? Well I do. So this calls for some new beanies and scarves for the whole family. Off to Walmart to see what they have in the craft section very soon. Until then consider me still---un-in...you know.

Chalk Happy/ Is Fall on its way?

We found a few big pieces of chalk and the kids and I went to town. And as you can see Halloween is not far from our minds, but first Fall has to make its arrival. Last night after the sun had gone down and the stars were hiding behind clouds, if I sniffed the outside air and concentrated, I could smell Fall. It smelled good. It smelled of new beginnings. It smelled of hope for things to come. So to you Fall, please come quickly.

This is what Peyton drew for me. I thought it was pretty AWESOME!
