My son still loves me.

This particular day was crazy. During the craziness I forgot to grab Peyton's toys that he packed up to go to the studio. Somebody picks up Peyton from school and brings him to the studio for me on Wednesdays.  So he had nothing to do at the studio because I forgot any kind of entertainment for him! The poor kid literally had nothing to do for something like 5 hours.  Poor kid.  Even though I did that (and felt horrible for it) Peyton still wrote me this sweet note on the studio mirror for me.  He still loves me even when I am forgetful.  I love the kid too.

Halloween

Not the best quality pictures. Oh well. These are the only pictures I got of Halloween.  I worked the whole day so it was up to Josh to take the kids to the ward trunk or treat. Peyton was a Ninja this year and Paige was a Cowgirl. They were able to wear their costumes to school that day and Paige wore hers to dance too!  Josh's work put on their annual Halloween celebration that day too so there was lot's of candy and lot's of fun!

October Student of the Month

We are so proud of Paige for being chosen for Student of the Month! The kids who are chosen to be Student of the Month get their picture in the paper (see below), a donut breakfast with their principle, Mr. Hall, and they get to pick a prize.  Paige was so happy and we are too.  We're so proud of school kids doing so well so far!

Peyton's 7th Birthday

I can't believe my baby boy is 7 years old.  He said it the other day and I thought, no way! He is not that old.    But alas, my kid is a big 'ole 7 years.  He is my kind, compassionate, hard working, crazy, inquisitive, happy and giving boy.  We love him so much and are so glad he is a part of our family!

School Pictures 2012

Peyton- 6 years old                                                              Paige- 5 years old

A visit from Brittany and a walk in the woods.

Brittany came to visit us one weekend and we decided to go on a little walk in one of our favorite places to go not far from Show Low. Fall had hit our mountain and the higher you go up the more the leaves had changed.  It was so beautiful.  Fall is my favorite time of year and will always be.  Here we are on a walk and taking an annual picture of the kids in the same spot.

Ha! Brittany checking out her bee sting.

Fall Festival Parade Pinetop 2012

After Peyton ingested a snickers candy bar and gave us a really good scare, our family doctor made a house call to give Peyton a Benedryl shot because we were on the verge of either giving him the Epipen or taking him to the ER.  Our family doc is the best! She saved the day and took such good care of Peyton and then took Paige to the parade afterwards as well so that she could still be in her first parade!  After I felt that Peyton was doing better I headed up there to be with all of our girls from The Dance Academy who were dancing in the parade.  The theme was "100 Years" so we decided to represent different eras of dance.  Paige and Haylee were 20's girls.  They looked so cute!  We had little dancers sitting on the float and then we had about 25 dancers on either side of the float dancing the entire parade!  They were so awesome!  I love my dancers!

Missing teeth, Dairy Queen and a fish.

Just a couple of randoms while at DQ celebrating who knows what.

And Peyton's catch of the day.

Les Miserables

Ashleen, Brittany, Mom, Stephanie and I went to see Les Miserables at Gammage in September.  It was so amazing and such a dream come true for me.  It was absolutely one the most beautiful performances I have ever seen. And it was so fun to be out with my favorite women and spend good family time with them.  Can't wait to do it again next year!

What we do...

...while we wait for Peyton to get out school.

Soccer Fall 2012

Peyton played soccer for the first time this fall and he enjoyed it so much.  He really got the hang of it by the end of the season.  What a handsome soccer player!

First Day of School 2012

Both kids at school! Peyton started 1st grade this year at Nikolaus Homestead Elementary with Ms. Garcia and Paige started Kindergarten with Mrs. Brady.  Both kids have been doing so well in school and it is so exciting to see our kids grow and learn more everyday.  We are so proud of them!
