Summer Fun for Elder Piercy

My thoughts today:

-I can't wait for fall. I keep checking the weather waiting for the temperature to drop. Not that it's hot, but you know. I just can't wait the wear sweaters.

-I am sick of driving to the valley and back here so often. Seriously. so. sick. I don't wanna anymore! At least for a little while. But this driving 3 hours there and 3 hours back just a couple days later every weekend for a month is really exhausting. And this weekend I have to do it all by myself. Not that I'm scared, not that I'm not going to appreciate the alone time but I do enjoy at least having the kids or Josh to talk to in the car.

-We made cookies today. Anyone know how to make cookies that don't flatten out?

-Peyton says something funny right now. He said to me, "Mom this stool is really giggly." He says 'giggly' when he means 'wiggly'. He doesn't realize he's saying the wrong word and I am not going to correct him on it.

-I got a new phone this week and I love it.

-Paige makes things very challenging sometimes.

-What will my mother in law bring home from the garden tonight? Last night it was corn, squash, zucchini, one strawberry!, tomatoes, cucumber, and potatoes.

-Life is good.

Our First Week

These are photos of our first week living in a new place. The weather was beautiful, by the end of the week it was cloudy and off and on rainy, it even got cold enough to throw on our jackets. I am settling my roots here officially, I started a new job yesterday at a dance studio close to town. It's smalltime and different than studios in the valley, but I know it will be a good thing for me. I am enjoying it very much so far and I am happy to be here.

3 weeks of packing, 1 day of loading and unloading, more to come, but for now...
