A ballet anyone?

First off I would like to invite you to come and see what I used to do! That is what I used to do when I was dancing. The ballet company I danced for (for a very long time) is performing this weekend at the MAC. They are performing for the very first time the full length version of Coppelia! Don't know anything about it? Go here. I've heard it's amazing and funny and of course the dancing is top notch by very talented artists.

And guess what! My dear friend Kellan just told me that they are doing a promotion where their most expensive seats are half off! So this is the time to go see a ballet if you have never seen one. Go here if you want to order tickets or want more info, by the way the promotional code is: TOYSHOP. I will be there Friday night, will I see you there?

And here's what we've been doing. Last week we made sugar cookies with the only two cookie cutters I own, hearts and stars. Paige ate maybe 3 or 4, Peyton had 1, and me and my pregnant self ate the rest! Not in one day though. They were kinda really good.

And Peyton wanted to feed the birds in our yard so he scattered 'bird seed' (sesame seeds) all over the yard. He wondered why the birds weren't eating them. But he had fun.

The Polka, Thank you's, Birthday Wishes

This picture has no relevance whatsoever but isn't it funny? Her outfit matched her bed sheets for her afternoon nap. I know it's not that cool to you, but I think it's hilarious.

Thank you for all the congrats! The details are: due in late October, haven't been that sick really, feeling exhausted though, kids are excited, we're all happy, saw the baby last week, there's just one thank goodness, and Josh has tomorrow off of work and possibly the next day, YIPEE! (that is not sarcastic, I'm so excited to have Josh home!) And it was his birthday today and I worked all.....night.......long. It's been a long afternoon/evening for me. But we will be celebrating more officially on Friday since I don't work with a not too big German Chocolate Cake. Why did I capitalize the name of that cake, because it's that good. (according to Josh. I prefer pie.)

Goodbye mohawk.

Goodnight, write to you later.

Our Easter in Snowy Show Low

A few days before we left for Show Low for Easter Peyton said to me, "Mom, I'm going to make snow angels when we go to Show Low!" I said, "Oh, I'm sorry Peyton but I don't think there will be any snow in Show Low in April." Kids just know more than we know sometimes. We woke up Saturday morning to a thick blanket of snow and Peyton was just elated. He did make his snow angel as well as a frosty the snow man with dad. By the time frosty was rolled up and put together most of the snow was gone in the front yard. It was bitter cold....to me. I did not like it. But Easter Sunday warmed up and the sun came out and we had a great time with family picnicking and hiking and more eating.

This is a great face huh? Easter morning.

Cute cousin Allie with her crazy morning hair.

The kids showing off their goods.

Allie and Paige did a great job finding eggs together. Here is her found treasure.
The kids showing off their eggs after their egg hunt. (Mohawk story coming up)

So the short version of this ugly mohawk is this is what happens when the girls go shopping and the boys are left in charge.
Josh made me promise I would at least leave it for his birthday, which is Wednesday, but first thing Thursday morning it is gone.
*and oh yeah, I'm pregnant.

It's Spring Time in AZ.....

How's the weather where you live?

This is what I have to look out to in my front yard, back yard, and family room:

Aren't these tulips amazing? I've never seen them in this color before.

And I am especially proud of this one single rose since I baby'd this plant when it was infested with spider mites and look at it now!

Spring in all it's glory. Check out that color.

What a girl.
Finally, PIGTAILS!

And then Peyton making a really wierd face, he looks like that alien from Men in Black doesn't he?

Welcome Spring! Thanks for all my flowers! You don't stay for very long but I love it when you're here!
