We didn't swim much this summer. We never really do. Not by choice we just don't really have much opportunity to do it. Here is one of the 2 times we went! The kids love it and Peyton loves to pretend like he can swim. Paige is just happy floating around the pool going wherever the water takes her, until she calls for me to get her from the opposite end of the pool. We have a good time when we do go and only get a little sunburned.
Peyton is only sad here because Paige didn't want to play with him. In fact she didn't want him even touching her floaty. Which you'll see in the next picture.
This is not a happy face, Paige is screaming at the top of her lungs (there's no other way to scream) because Peyton is trying to pull her around the pool.
And after a long day struggling with my emotions, very little patience and kids that didn't nap and were stuck inside the house allll day, I couldn't wait to get the kids to bed! But then suddenly there they were, silently eating a chocolate chip cookie and milk right after a bath and watching a show before bed. And then I didn't want them to go to bed and I had to squeeze them both and plop big kisses on their cheeks.
