What's going on?

Josh pointed out that I haven't posted in a while. He sits on the edge of his seat waiting for me to post something while he is at work. And nothing! How dissapointing. So here is everything that is not going on with us:

We are still loving living in Show Low. I love the snow. Except for tonight.

We had some additions to the household. Good thing we like them.

I had a new nephew born last Tuesday. He was a mere 2 lbs 12.5 ounces. Born at 30 weeks, mother and baby doing great. Welcome Liam!

I am working on a quilt for the beautiful boy right now, and I am so thankful for the distraction.

We are still waiting for that last 1099 form of mine to finish our taxes. How annoying. And how rude.

We will soon be out of medical debt and will be able to move on to saving for a house! Hallelujah!

I'm still not pregnant. :( My time will come.

We saw a deer get hit by a car last weekend on our way to the valley. But don't worry folks, I think it was just nicked, it got up and was able to hop off the road and leap over the fence. Thank goodness.

On my way home from work tonight my car could not make it up a slight hill because of the ice. I felt my tires losing traction and then just spin. So I stopped in the middle of the hill and turned on my hazards and waited for Josh to come rescue me with my foot pressed to the break as hard as I could so I wouldn't slide down the hill. Luckily a City of Show Low employee turned around to help me get up this hill. It was a plow dropping cinders on the road and he shoveled cinders at my tires so I could gain traction once again. I love him for it. If it wasn't so cold I would have gotten out of my car and hugged him and wished him a wonderful life because I was so greatful.

I don't know what to cook for dinner tomorrow. Something with ground beef.



And there you have it, the non-happenings with us.

No more mullet...

Paige had a serious mullet growing. For some reason the top and sides are just growing so slow but the bottom layer of her hair was growing longer all by itself. She was starting to look like the mom on The Brady Bunch. So as much as I hated to cut off what little hair she had I finally decided we should chop the mullet.

This picture is not the greatest, she wasn't happy about getting her hair cut. She was a little fidgety.

Since we cut it it seems much thicker. We cut all the baby wispies off so it's fuller now. It's still a baby haircut but it's coming! I can't wait to french braid that hair! (I know, it'll be a while.)
