Welcome to our Home...

So not the best picture, I'll try taking another one in the morning when the sun is not so high. But here is the front of our home.

Doesn't this door just say "Welcome" ? I love it. I fell in love with this door right away and even when I thought we wouldn't get the house I wanted to come back and take the door!

The kids spend so much time outside playing, here mostly. I love that their outside so much getting fresh air and I can sit on the porch and watch them or read a book. And there are trees all around us making us feel very secluded and protected.

Here is the view of our house from the beginning of our driveway. You can barely see the house and the lawn through the trees. And our lawn is actually green from all the rain we've been getting!
More to come later.....I am off to welcome home my brother from his 2 year mission in Armenia! We are so excited to see him again! And then I am off to Las Vegas for a dance teacher expo/convention for a few days with a couple of good friends. See you when I get back!

We're settled

I'm here! We just got internet at our house finally and we are feeling very settled. Only a few boxes that have not been unpacked. Pretty good for only being here for 2 weeks! We've had my family come to visit the past 2 weekends and it has been so fun to have them here to see where we live. We are thoroughly enjoying the house and really making it ours. I know we will be here for a long time. Pictures coming soon. Thanks for all the well wishes!

House Update

Well everything worked out with the house finally. Many many times we were waiting on the edge of our seats on what would happen but here we are now moving in. We spent the whole weekend moving things and cleaning. We still can't actually move in until a couple things are fixed but there is light at the end of the tunnel and it is bright! Next thing on the agenda is taking down wallpaper! What fun we'll have! Pictures coming.....

Prima Paige

Paige spent alot of time with me durring our recital last weekend so she got to see all the pretty ballerinas in their pink frilly tutus. Her favorite was "Baby Face". She almost instantly fell in love with the stage and kept asking me when was it her turn to dance. Well my good friend Becky had an extra Baby Face costume so she gave it to Paige along with her first pair of ballet shoes! Paige wears it every day and luckily she lets me take it off her when we go to the store but it goes right back on when we get home.
Paigey starts her first ballet class tomorrow with Miss Becky and Peyton and Paige are both taking a tumbling class together as well. It's fun to have the kids start thier own activities! We're all growing up in the Adams family!

Pee Wee T-Ball

Josh is coaching for Peyton's Pee Wee T-Ball team, the Tigers. He was pretty overwhelmed at the first time we got 11 4 year olds together on a field with a ball and bat, but since it has gotten better and more fun. These kids are just starting to kind of get the game and it's so funny to watch a swarm of 11 little kids running for the ball after it has just been hit. Peyton is having alot of fun at his "games". No score is kept, everybody gets a chance to hit the ball every inning, and there are no outs. It's awesome!

Paige enjoys playing in the grass watching the games.

Peyton got a little bored at one point and started picking the grass and putting it in his mit.

Coming up next.......our little ballerina.

Recently

We've actually had a few events happen that I will blog about! As far as our house, we are still not in it yet, we've hit yet another snag in this whole process but I am trying not to think about it or else it will take over my life! I'll let you all know if this works out in the end or not. All I know is that I am ready to actually start our life here!

A couple of weeks ago we drove to Utah with my whole family to celebrate my Grandparent's 60th anniversary with them. We had a luncheon at a beautiful place and enjoyed getting to know my Dad's family again. We also celebrated Paige's 3rd birthday while we were there.

Earlier in the day we went to a farm with most of my cousins.

Tomorrow will bring.........Pee-Wee T-Ball fun!
