Prima Paige

Paige spent alot of time with me durring our recital last weekend so she got to see all the pretty ballerinas in their pink frilly tutus. Her favorite was "Baby Face". She almost instantly fell in love with the stage and kept asking me when was it her turn to dance. Well my good friend Becky had an extra Baby Face costume so she gave it to Paige along with her first pair of ballet shoes! Paige wears it every day and luckily she lets me take it off her when we go to the store but it goes right back on when we get home.

Paigey starts her first ballet class tomorrow with Miss Becky and Peyton and Paige are both taking a tumbling class together as well. It's fun to have the kids start thier own activities! We're all growing up in the Adams family!

Pee Wee T-Ball

Josh is coaching for Peyton's Pee Wee T-Ball team, the Tigers. He was pretty overwhelmed at the first time we got 11 4 year olds together on a field with a ball and bat, but since it has gotten better and more fun. These kids are just starting to kind of get the game and it's so funny to watch a swarm of 11 little kids running for the ball after it has just been hit. Peyton is having alot of fun at his "games". No score is kept, everybody gets a chance to hit the ball every inning, and there are no outs. It's awesome!

Peyton got a little bored at one point and started picking the grass and putting it in his mit.

Recently

We've actually had a few events happen that I will blog about! As far as our house, we are still not in it yet, we've hit yet another snag in this whole process but I am trying not to think about it or else it will take over my life! I'll let you all know if this works out in the end or not. All I know is that I am ready to actually start our life here!

A couple of weeks ago we drove to Utah with my whole family to celebrate my Grandparent's 60th anniversary with them. We had a luncheon at a beautiful place and enjoyed getting to know my Dad's family again. We also celebrated Paige's 3rd birthday while we were there.

Earlier in the day we went to a farm with most of my cousins.

Tomorrow will bring.........Pee-Wee T-Ball fun!

Lately

So here I am. I've been really busy with lot's going on. And I have no pictures to put up because I haven't touched my camera in about 2 months. But here are the going on's:

I've been spending alot of time at the dance studio rehearsing my ballet girls for a competition we attended last weekend in Mesa. My ballet dance got a silver medal and 2nd place. Not too shabby.

We are also getting ready for our recital in June so we are rehearsing a teachers dance, which I actually like, and I will be also dancing with my Senior 2 girls. Scary.

We are in the middle of buying a house finally! We're in escrow now and we are supposed to close June 2nd. We are so excited and we LOVE the house. I can't wait to be in it.

I guess that's it. See ya in another month! Just kidding, I'll try to post more often.

Easter in Pictures

Here are pictures from Easter. We did an egg hunt in the morning at the house and then packed up and drove to Glenwood, New Mexico for a hike on the catwalks they have built going over a river. It was so beautiful. The kids were troopers but as you will see Peyton was at the end of his rope by the time we got to the top. Paige said, "This is really hard" but she made it walking almost the whole way on her own.

Spring?

Tonight, while leaving the studio, I looked to the West. It was 7:20 pm and I could see the top line of the trees against a dark blue. Which tells me the sun is setting a little later. Which also tells me Spring is on its way. A few weeks ago this news made me sad because I was enjoying the winter so much, the snow, wearing my coat and gloves outside, seeing my breath, staying inside and cooking chicken noodle soup.







But now when I go outside in the mornings I can hear birds singing and it is so beautiful! I didn't even wear a sweater outside today. But....I was just informed that another storm is coming in this weekend, possible snow? I'm told that Spring is the worst time of year here in Show Low because of the wind. I don't handle wind very well. I'll be the one with my hair tied up every day and wearing goggles to keep the dirt out of my contacts.







Hopefully as Spring arrives it will bring new beginnings for us too. Here's to Spring.
